ABOUT US

Organizations are facing disruptive challenges driven by accelerating connectivity, technology innovation, new talent models and changing workforce behaviours. New jobs are being invented and some traditional jobs are no longer available.

With the current volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) environment, Singapore workforce needs to adapt, unlearn and relearn for future growth. Career development is an important process to support such lifelong career transformation.

No matter where you are in your career, chances are you're in need a little support to get to the next step—to go for the job you'll actually love waking up for, to find meanings in the things you do, or to just push through a rough day.  Career development can support you to better manage the changing life, learning, and work.

More career practitioners are needed to support the workforce transformation in Singapore in the coming years.

The Career Development Association of Singapore (CDAS) was founded in 2018 by a group of passionate practitioners who saw the needs to support the growing career development practitioners community and to promote professionalism in the industry.

CDAS is an independent, member association that is for and open to all practitioners and professionals in the fields of career development, guidance, and services.

CDAS is set up with the objectives to provide professional development, publications, ethical practices guidelines, and advocacy to career practitioners and educators who inspire and empower individuals to achieve their career and life goals
