MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES

One time Entrance fee - $50 (for first-time new members only)

1) [New] General - $30/annum
    a. Open to any person who:
        i. has a general interest in career development and practice

         ii. wants to learn and understand more about career development and practice

         iii. wants to connect to a network of career development enthusiast and practitioners
    b. Limited access to members benefits

 

2) Associate - $50/annum

     a. Possses at least a Bachelor’s degree in any field. Eligibility of any other academic qualifications  shall be considered on a case by case basis by the Council.
     b. Obtained a CDAS-approve
d career development related certification
     c. Possess a strong interest in career development and practice
     d. Need not possess any work experience in a career development related field or occupation.
     e. Invitation to attend general meetings but does not have the right to vote or contribute to decision-making process.
     f. Entitled to use the designatory term: “CDAS (A)”.
     g. Full access to member benefits.

3)  Professional - $80/annum

       a. Possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in any field. Eligibility of any other academic qualifications shall be considered on a case by case basis by the Council.
       b. Obtained a CDAS-approved career development related certification
       c. Have at least 3 years’ work experience in a career development related field or occupation.
       d. Have the right to vote at all general meetings and shall be eligible to stand for election into the Council.
       e. Entitled to use the designatory term “CDAS (P)”.
       f. Full access to member benefits
       g. [For renewal] required to clock minimum of 10 hours of Continuing Education (CE) during the year

4) Fellow - $100/annum

      a. Fellows shall be conferred through nomination and approval by the Council.
      b. Fellows must be nominated by 3 Pro
fessional members. Significance is determined by the Council.
      c. Fellows shall be entitled to use the designatory term “CDAS (F)”.
      d. Fellows shall have the right to vote at all general meetings and shall be eligible to stand for election into the Council.
      e. Fellows must have significant/recognized contributions to the career development field.

5) Corporate - $200/annum

      a. This category allows companies to gain insights to career industry leaders, career development practitioners or closely related career services and overseas learning trips at group discounted rates.

     b. Corporate members should be a legally registered entity/company in Singapore with keen interest in career development or closely relates services. 

     c.  Corporate members do not have the right to vote or contribute to CDAS decision-making process.

6) Student - $30/annum

      a. To qualify for student membership, one must produce a valid student card or documentary evidence upon application.

b. Student members do not have the right to vote or contribute to CDAS decision-making process.
