CDASMaster: Peer Supervision for Career Practitioners (A Prelude)
How can we ensure that we grow and support one another in our common goal of helping the people around us? Join us to find out today!
Time & Location
17 Jun 2020, 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm SGT
About the Event
Traditionally, practitioners from the helping professions are required to receive clinical supervision from a senior practitioner/supervisor as part of their professional development. However, as career practice in Singapore is still at its early stages of development, there are currently very few qualified career supervisors within the community.
Until that point arrives, a highly effective alternative would be for career practitioners to engage in peer supervision as part of their professional development. This approach harnesses the power of social learning (Bandura, 1971) which proposes that new behaviours can be acquired by observing and emulating others.
Join Dr Timothy Hsi at this webinar where he will introduce the concept of peer supervision & explore the benefits and advantages that practitioners and organisations will accrue by implementing this approach.
This session is a prelude to a CDASMaster Masterclass titled: "Peer Supervision for the Helping Profession" that is scheduled to be held on Aug 2020. Stay tuned for more information!
